Sterile, Single‑Use Equipment

All needles, tools, and consumables used during your piercing are sterile and single‑use. Everything is opened in front of you and safely disposed of after your appointment.

Clean, Sanitised Studio

The piercing area is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before and after every client. Surfaces, equipment, and high‑touch areas are disinfected to maintain a safe environment.

PIERCING AFTERCARE

Clean Twice Daily

Use sterile saline or a piercing‑safe aftercare spray. Gently soak the area and let it air‑dry — no rubbing or twisting.

Hands Off

Avoid touching your piercing unless you’re cleaning it. This helps prevent irritation and infection.

No Twisting or Turning

Leave the jewellery still. Twisting can damage healing tissue and slow the process.

Avoid Harsh Products

No alcohol, peroxide, Dettol, tea tree oil, or ointments. These can irritate the skin and delay healing.

Keep Hair & Clothing Clear

Be mindful of hair, hats, headphones, and clothing that may catch or pull on your piercing.

Avoid Sleeping on It

Pressure can cause bumps, irritation, and delayed healing. Try to sleep on the opposite side.

No Swimming

Avoid pools, spas, lakes, and the ocean for 2–4 weeks to reduce the risk of infection.

Rinse After Showering

Gently rinse your piercing after showers to remove soap, shampoo, and conditioner residue.

NORMAL HEALING

What’s Normal

Mild redness, light swelling, clear/yellow lymph fluid, and slight itching are all normal parts of healing.

Healing Times

Healing varies depending on the piercing:

• Lobes — 6–8 weeks

• Cartilage — 6–12 months

• Nose — 3–6 months

• Navel — 6–12 months
